https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXEBjGE0lzE In a world of rising crime against women, especially minors, MukkaMaar aims to equip girls with verbal, non-verbal, physical and emotional skills) to avoid, deter, diffuse, resist and escape violence. MukkaMaar provides a 3-year comprehensive training program to the lesser privileged adolescent girls in a twice-a-week module to ensure it’s a skill that will not escape the minds and bodies long after. Started at Versova beach, Mumbai, with girls from a nearby slum, MukkaMaar has now partnered with MCGM to deliver the program to all 1100+ Municipal schools across Mumbai. Currently ~2800 girls are being trained in Classes 6, 7 & 8 across 66 municipal schools. MukkaMaar aims to make its training program available in all the 1100+ schools in Mumbai and also expand to other cities. Team MukkaMaar comprises of professionals drawn from various fields and industries. Professionals from film industry, sports arena, corporates and management consultants, who share their values with MukkaMaar, play active roles in managing and mentoring MukkaMaar ensuring its growth and aspirations.

At MukkaMaar you will:
• Form a bridge between trainers who deliver the MukkaMaar program in schools, and the school management and education department authorities
• Mange overall delivery of our training program ensuring optimum quality and utilization of trainer’s time
• Manage and lead a team of 14 trainers, managing the program delivery to all ~2500 girls in the program
• Establish, develop and maintain positive working ambience and all stake-holders relationships
You need to have:
• Strong desire to make a difference by working in the non-profit sector
• Time-management and organizational skills
• Communication (written & verbal), presentation, coordination and relationship management skills
• Highly analytical approach towards problem solving
• High degree of ownership and ability to operate in a fast-paced, result-driven culture
It will be good if you also have:
• Experience/knowledge of managing faculties and classes
• Experience of working with young adolescent girls form marginalized sections
• Experience of working with the government officials and agencies
Job Description
Job Role: Program Coordination, Monitoring and Recruitment, Administration
Detailed tasks:
ANNUAL TASKS
1. Coordination with MCGM for timely renewal of permission letters for self-defence training of MukkaMaar in schools. Including sending a report in March, procuring letter in April before the summer break.
2. Carrying out formalities with existing schools for continuation of the training classes at the beginning of every academic year ensuring no loss of time. - March April June 3. Carrying out formalities with new schools for starting the new classes.
ONGOING TASKS- NEED BASED
1. Preparing the class schedules after discussion with the school authorities and regular
update of the same. – Updating the same on google drive and calendar.
2. Ensuring full utilization of Trainer’s time (18 hours per week) maximizing the schools
and students.
3. Maintaining the lists/data of schools, students enrolled, name and contacts of EO/ AO/ Headmaster/Headmistress, PT teacher.
4. Preparing and maintaining the MukkaMaar calendar indicating school holidays, TT sessions, Faculty meets, monthly members’ meets, events, interviews and other engagements.
5. Completing all formalities of Trainers and maintaining the records – Personal records,
Contracts, Code of Contacts, Biodata to PS
6. Maintaining records of Donation Register, Donor IDs, issuance of Receipts.
7. Maintaining all documents, registers and records in – (a) softcopies in google drives
systematically, (b) hardcopies in files for ready reference and as per requirement.
MONTHLY TASKS
1. Sending periodic updates/greetings to the MCGM contacts, EO, AO, BO, school
Headmaster/Headmistress, PT teachers
2. Keeping track of total hours of training imparted
3. Keeping track of attendance and calculations of payments along with the accounts
personnel.
MONITORING TASKS
1. Regular visit to the schools for program monitoring and coordination.
2. Maintaining relations with school authorities and PT teachers.
3. Resolving any issues regarding classes, timings, complaints.
4. Monitoring and ensuring overall quality of MukkaMaar training program delivered by
the Trainers in all schools.
5. Coordination with the Mentors, ensuring their visits to the schools and obtaining
feedbacks.
6. Coordination related to Trainers’ evaluations.
7. Attending faculty meets and taking notes.
8. Identifying talents in coordination with the Trainers and arranging special coaching for competitions.
9. Coordination with DSO and Sports Associations for participation in competitions and
ensuring participations in all applicable events.
10. Inviting applications for faculties, screening, shortlisting, interviews and coordination
for recruitments.
11. Scheduling TT sessions for new recruits, attending the same and assisting in evaluation process.
12. Overall monitoring of performance of all Trainers.
