Involve (www.involveedu.com) was founded by recent graduates from IIT Madras, Divanshu, & Samyak, and is an international award-winning organization that works with schools to develop age-appropriate leadership in seniors and improves academics of juniors using PEER TEACHING. We train and mentor senior school students (from 7th grade onwards) to teach their juniors (4th-8th grades). Vision: To create student-driven learning ecosystems in schools that improve student ownership & shared learning culture

Mission: To implement Peer Teaching classrooms across schools to develop leadership skills in students

Overview of the Role:

The person will be responsible to manage end-to-end implementation of our Peer Teaching program in 8-10 Schools, through managing part-time fellows, to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students. This will include:

1. Implementation

Create an action plan to develop Student Leadership & academics using existing tools and programs

Coordinate with fellows for respective schools to ensure our program is implemented well

Training of Student leaders on pedagogy and taking regular workshops for them

Implementation will also involve piloting need-based programs AND/OR integrating existing programs/solutions from partner organizations

2. Manage relationships

Foster positive relationships with teachers, school staff and other stakeholders to get buy-in on change efforts required at the school level

Identify and forge new external partnerships with organizations/people aimed at addressing pressing needs at the school site

Participate in meetings, workshops or related forums/events, as required by school or Involve

3. Documenting and reporting

Lead efforts to document and report progress and gaps of students on a monthly basis

Adapt tools or surveys to evaluate, collect data and document stakeholder (parents, teachers, students) response to intervention

Analyze feedback to continually improve the effectiveness of program and implementation

You should have:

Experience: Some experience in the social sector, preferably in education full time. 

Education: An undergraduate degree in any stream is a must; a master’s degree is a plus

Skills: Should be a good planner and a go-getter; Should be good with on-ground work; Clear understanding of thoughts and great communication skills; Ability to manage and inspire people

Strong work Ethics: Punctuality, Sense of environment, self-driven; 

Interests: Passionate about education; enjoys mentoring and working with school kids. 

Location: Chennai & Bangalore (Should be fluent in local language Tamil or Kannada)

Compensation: Rs. 25,000- 40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & fit)
